Try this cleaning hack for burnt pans

It’s happened to all of us - we put something on to cook and forget about it and it ends up burning. And we all have a pan that’s been so badly burnt, we’d rather throw it out than spend hours trying to get it clean.

How do you get your pan sparkling again, without spending hours scrubbing, or using harsh, toxic chemicals? It's actually simpler thank you think!

All you need for this cleaning trick is cheap, non-toxic ingredients you likely already have at home - baking soda (or bicarbonate of soda) and white vinegar! (You can also use apple cider vinegar if you don’t have).

Here's what to do:

  1. Fill the burnt pan with water until the bottom is covered.

  2. Bring the water to the boil and then remove it from the heat.

  3. Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the pan. This will help loosen any burnt bits.

  4. Add about 2 tablespoons baking soda, and let it fizz. Let it soak for a few minutes, and then scrub away the burnt bits.

  5. Rinse and wash the pan normally.

  6. Watch this video from wikiHow and see how easy it is.
