This week on the Olive Pride Chef's Tour, we visit South Africa’s food & wine capital, and we're cooking with the man who helped shaped this culinary hotspot - Franschhoek born and bred Chef Reuben Riffel!

Franschhoek is a place close to Reuben’s heart; not only did he realise his passion for food here while still at school, but he also has his own restaurant here - Reuben's.

On the tour, Reuben had the chance to visit his childhood home. He makes a dish inspired by his mom’s love for seafood curries… but with a bit of a modern twist - roasted hake and calamari with harissa honey and lemon cream, couscous, baby marrow and sweet corn, finished off with a tomato and mint salsa!
