Spicy Mexican Wraps

Toasted wraps topped with sour cream, eastern spiced beef, mature cheddar & fresh herbs.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • 2 x wraps
  • 250g x beef strips
  • ½ tbsp x Smoked Eastern Mix
  • 2 tbsp x sour cream
  • 30g x mature cheddar – grate coarsely
  • 1 x carrots – trim ends, peel & grate coarsely
  • 3g x fresh coriander – discard stalks
  • 3g x fresh mint – discard stalks
  • ½ x chilli (optional) – deseed & chop
  • butter (from your pantry)
  • olive oil (from your pantry)
  • salt & pepper (from your pantry)

  • 4 x wraps
  • 500g x beef strips
  • 1 tbsp x Smoked Eastern Mix
  • 4 tbsp x sour cream
  • 60g x mature cheddar – grate coarsely
  • 2 x carrots – trim ends, peel & grate coarsely
  • 5g x fresh coriander – discard stalks
  • 5g x fresh mint – discard stalks
  • 1 x chilli (optional) – deseed & chop
  • butter (from your pantry)
  • olive oil (from your pantry)
  • salt & pepper (from your pantry)

Method

Step 1

Preparation: Prepare all ingredients as indicated above.

Step 2

Wraps: Place in a dry pan on high heat and warm for 30 seconds a side until golden.

Step 3

Beef strips: Coat the beef strips in olive oil, the Smoked Eastern Mix and season with salt and pepper. Place a pan on high heat with a knob of butter. When the butter has melted, add the beef strips and sauté for 3 minutes until golden, but still slightly pink inside.

Step 4

Serve by topping the wrap with the sour cream, grated cheese, beef strips and grated carrots. Sprinkle over the coriander, mint leaves and chilli (to your preference). Wrap up and serve.
