Fettuccine with Tomato Sauce & Ricotta

Artisanal, preservative-free, home-made pasta sauce straight from the Fairview farm. Served with fettuccine pasta with a dollop of ricotta and fresh basil.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • 500ml x Brenda’s Pasta Sauce
  • 1 cup x boiling water
  • 150g x fettuccine – break into pieces (6cm)
  • ¼ cup x ricotta
  • 5g x 10g fresh basil– tear into pieces
  • salt & pepper (from your pantry)

Ingredients to serve 4

  • 2 x 500ml x Brenda’s Pasta Sauce
  • 2 cups x boiling water
  • 300g x fettuccine – break into pieces (6cm)
  • ½ cup x ricotta
  • 10g x 10g fresh basil– tear into pieces
  • salt & pepper (from your pantry)

Method

Step 1

Place a large saucepan on medium to high heat. Add the boiling water (see quantity above) and pasta sauce to the pan and bring to the boil. Add noodles and simmer (boil very gently) for 8 minutes. Taste and add salt if necessary.

Step 2

To serve, divide the pasta between the bowls. Add a dollop of ricotta on top, scatter with fresh basil pieces and freshly ground black pepper.
