Creamy Chicken Fusilli

We're all about this creamy cream cheese and harissa, chard and pea fusilli pasta is all the fuzzy, tasty palate warmer you'll need.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • 200g x Smoked Chicken - flaked
  • 1 tbsp x Garlic - crushed
  • 5g x Oregano - leaves pulled from stem and chopped
  • 4 tbsps x Cream Cheese
  • 80ml x Cream
  • 200g x Swiss Chard - shredded
  • 100g x Peas
  • 2 tsps x Harissa Paste
  • 4 tsps x Tomato Passata
  • 150g x Fusilli Pasta
  • Milk (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

Ingredients to serve 4

  • 400g x Smoked Chicken - flaked
  • 2 tbsps x Garlic - crushed
  • 10g x Oregano - leaves pulled from stem and chopped
  • 8 tbsps x Cream Cheese
  • 160ml x Cream
  • 400g x Swiss Chard - shredded
  • 200g x Peas
  • 4 tsps x Harissa Paste
  • 8 tsps x Tomato Passata
  • 300g x Fusilli Pasta
  • Milk (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

Method

Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils. Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any "Pantry Items". Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil for use in Step 1.

Washing Instruction

Wash your hands well. Rinse your swiss chard and oregano thoroughly and drain on paper towel.

Step 1 - Fusilli Pasta

Once your large saucepan of water has come to the boil, cook your fusilli pasta for 10-12 minutes until "al dente". Drain through a colander and reserve for use in Step 2.

Step 2 -Creamy Pasta Base

Heat a large casserole pan over med-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and add your crushed garlic, oregano, and smoked chicken. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through, now add your peas and swiss chard with a dash of water. Cover with a lid and cook for 1-2 minutes until heated through. Turn your heat to medium and add your cream, cream cheese, harissa paste, and tomato passata. Stir your sauce and cook until heated through. Remove your pan from the heat and mix through your cooked fusilli pasta - you may thin your pasta with a dash of milk. Taste and season, if need be with salt and pepper.

To serve

Divide your creamy chicken fusilli pasta amongst your servings.
