Washing Instruction

Wash your hands and baby potatoes well.

Gino's Tip

Dairy cows and beef cows are farmed differently. Usually, beef cows are raised for meat until they're one or two years old. Meanwhile, dairy cows will be farmed for much longer while they continue to provide enough milk. However, once a dairy cow stops milking the meat is rarely eaten but their meat can still be amazingly rich and succulent.

Step 1 - Roast Baby Potatoes and Teriyaki Stir Fry

Toss your halved baby potatoes in a large mixing bowl with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Scatter onto an oven tray and roast for 30-35 minutes, until golden and crisp - turning them halfway through. While your baby potatoes are roasting, heat a large casserole pan over med-high heat, once your pan is hot but not smoking stir fry your far east slaw base and garlic for 4-5 minutes until just about tender. Finish by adding your teriyaki and soya sauce and seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2 - Seared Steak

Season your steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a large frying pan over med-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and once your pan is hot but not smoking sear your sirloin steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side or cooked to the desired doneness. Transfer your steaks to a chopping board and slice for your next step.

Step 3 - Assembling your Gratin

Spread your teriyaki stir fry over your roasted potatoes (try to reserve the sauce from the stir fry for drizzling over once served), top with your seared sliced steak and sprinkle over your grated mozzarella and rosemary. Bake in the oven for 2-3 minutes until your cheese is oozy.

To serve

Divide your teriyaki far east gratin amongst your servings. Enjoy!
