Asian Crispy Three Cheese Flabreads

A play on a classic Italiano Margherita and three-cheese pizza with these teriyaki drizzled flatbreads with tender stem broccoli and edamame salad.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • 2 x Garlic Naan Breads
  • 100g x Heirloom Tomatoes - quartered
  • 1 x Tomatoes - sliced
  • 100g x Tenderstem Broccoli - stem end trimmed
  • 100g x Edamame - take from freezer
  • 10g x Crispy Onions
  • 20g x Wild Rocket - long or thick stems removed
  • ½ x Camembert - small dice
  • 40g x White Cheddar - grated
  • 40g x Mozzarella - grated
  • 30ml x Teriyaki
  • 80ml x Pizza Sauce
  • Bowl of Ice Water (from your pantry)
  • All Purpose Flour (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

  • 4 x Garlic Naan Breads
  • 200g x Heirloom Tomatoes - quartered
  • 2 x Tomatoes - sliced
  • 200g x Tenderstem Broccoli - stem end trimmed
  • 200g x Edamame - take from freezer
  • 20g x Crispy Onions
  • 40g x Wild Rocket - long or thick stems removed
  • 1 x Camembert - small dice
  • 80g x White Cheddar - grated
  • 80g x Mozzarella - grated
  • 60ml x Teriyaki
  • 160ml x Pizza Sauce
  • Bowl of Ice Water (from your pantry)
  • All Purpose Flour (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

Method

Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils. Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any "Pantry Items". Preheat your oven to grill. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil for use in Step 2.

Washing Instruction

Wash your hands, heirloom tomaotes, tomatoes and tenderstem broccoli well.

Shocking your greens in ice water, stops the carry over effect of cooking, maintaining crispness, colour and nutritional value.

Step 1 - Three Cheese and Tomato Flatbreads

Place your garlic naans on your clean the reverse side of an oven tray sprinkled with all-purpose flour (you may need two trays depending on your servings). Spoon over your pizza sauce, sprinkle over your grated white cheddar and mozzarella. Now spread over your sliced tomatoes and diced camembert. Season well with salt and pepper. Place into your preheated oven on grill setting for 4-5 minutes until your cheese has gratinated and your tomatoes have blistered.

Step 2 - Greens Salad

Once your water has come to the boil, cook your tender stem broccoli for 5-6 minutes until just about cooked, remove with a tongs or slotted spoon and shock in your bowl of ice water. Proceed to cook your edamame in your boiling water for 2-3 minutes, remove with a slotted spoon and shock in your bowl of ice water. Drain your greens through a colander once cooled and place on paper towel to dry. Once dry, toss in a large mixing bowl along with your quartered heirloom tomatoes, wild rocket, and crispy onions. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil just before serving.

To serve

Divide your three cheese and tomato flatbreads amongst your servings, drizzle over your teriyaki sauce and serve with your greens salad. Enjoy!
