Method
Before You Begin
Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils. Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any "Pantry Items". preheat your oven to 180°C.
Washing Instruction
Wash your hands and baby marrows well. Brush your mushrooms with a soft basting brush or wipe with a clean kitchen towel.
Gino's Tip
Please keep an eye on your pizzas when they are closer to the element and move them around regularly to avoid the bases from singeing.
Step 1 - Roasted Brown Mushrooms and Baby Marrows
Toss your quartered mushrooms and chunked baby marrows in a large mixing bowl with a drizzling of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Scatter onto an oven tray and pop into the oven for 12-15 minutes until your vegetables are lightly browned and tender.
Step 2 - BBQ Pork
Coat your pork cubes in your cornflour and place a large frying pan over high heat. Add a shallow layer of sunflower oil and allow the oil to become hot. Fry your pork cubes in batches - as to not overcrowd your pan - for 2-3 minutes until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. Once all your pork has been crisped; decant your oil, reduce your temperature to low, and add your DailyDish Shisa BBQ Sauce to the pan. Reduce until slightly sticky and return your crispy pork to the pan and coat in the sauce.
Step 3 - Assembling your Pizza - See Gino's Tip
Once your vegetables have roasted, give your oven tray a quick clean and place your pizza bases on the reverse side of it. Flouring the tray will stop the bases from sticking to it. Top with your pizza sauce, roasted mushrooms, and baby marrows. Sprinkle over your grated mozzarella and finally your bbq pork. Place in the middle of your oven to heat through for 2-3 minutes. Proceed to change your oven setting to grill and allow to gratinate for 3-4 minutes until the cheese is oozy, the filling is hot and the bases are crispy.
To serve
Divide slices of your pizza amongst your servings. Enjoy!
