Method
Before You Begin
Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils: Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any “Pantry Items”. Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil for use in Step 1. Place your frozen edamame in a bowl of warm water or rinse under warm water until thawed for use in Step 2.
Washing Instruction
Wash your hands well. Rinse your swiss chard thoroughly and drain on paper towel.
Mariella's Tip
Stir frys are a great way of getting in plenty of veg. Be creative and add a different veg each time!
Step 1 - Egg Noodles
Once the water in your large saucepan comes to the boil, add your egg noodles and cook for 5-6 minute until tender. Drain through a colander and reserve until step 3.
Step 2 - Stir Fry Base
Heat a large casserole pan over med-high heat, once your pan is hot add your stir fry base and cook for 3-4 minutes until just about tender. Stir frequently and once tender add your crushed garlic, ginger paste, flaked smoked chicken, swiss chard and edamame, continue cooking for 2-3 minutes while stirring. Season with salt and pepper and transfer to a serving dish - reserve your pan for Step 3.
Step 3 - Soy Glazed Noodles
Add your DailyDish Soya Glaze and a few drizzles of olive oil - about one-third of the sauce value. Now once the soya glaze starts to bubble vigorously add your cooked egg noodles and coat in your sauce. Remove your pan from the heat and mix in your stir fry base.
To Serve
Divide your simple chicken and soy egg noodles amongst your servings. For adults, you may drizzle over your sriracha for some depth of flavour - if you like a bit of spiciness.
