Grilled Pork Pomodoro with Cheesy Rolls

Who can resist saucy, cheesy garlicky baked kitke rolls......that's right.....no one ever.....so try our pan-fried pork with balsamic tomato sauce, roasted vegetables, and parmesan kitke rolls.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • 2 x Pork Sirloin Steaks
  • 3 x Courgettes - cut into chunks
  • 100g x Cherry Tomatoes
  • 3 x Cocktail Kitke Rolls
  • 20g x Garlic - crushed
  • 20g x Parmesan - grated
  • 5g x Italian Flat Leaf Parsley
  • 150ml x DD Balsamic Pomodoro
  • 40g x Butter (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

Ingredients to serve 4

  • 4 x Pork Sirloin Steaks
  • 6 x Courgettes - cut into chunks
  • 200g x Cherry Tomatoes
  • 6 x Cocktail Kitke Rolls
  • 40g x Garlic - crushed
  • 40g x Parmesan - grated
  • 10g x Italian Flat Leaf Parsley
  • 300ml x DD Balsamic Pomodoro
  • 80g x Butter (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

Method

Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils: Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any “Pantry Items”. Preheat your oven to 220C. Heat your butter until melted in the microwave along with your crushed garlic and chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley, reserve for use later.

Washing Instruction

Wash your hands, courgettes and cherry tomatoes well. Rinse your italian flat leaf parsley thoroughly and drain on paper towel.

You want to pack your rolls tightly together so that they soak up all the flavour and that there's no wastage of your cheese.

Step 1 - Pomodoro Roast Vegetables

Toss the chunked courgettes in a large mixing bowl with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper. Scatter onto an oven tray and pop into the oven for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, add the halved cherry tomatoes and continue roasting for a further 6-8 minutes until your vegetables are lightly browned and just about tender. Once done; heat a large casserole pan over med-high heat, and warm your DailyDish Balsamic Pomodoro through before adding your roasted vegetables, and removing your pan from the heat. Don't forget to taste and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2 - Grilled Pork

Season your pork sirloin steaks with salt and pepper. Heat your large grill pan over med-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil, and once your pan is hot but not smoking fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until completely cooked through.

Step 3 - Garlic Butter Cheesy Rolls

Place your rolls, on an oven tray lined with foil or baking sheet, closely packed together, brush with your garlic and herb butter, and sprinkle over your grated parmesan. Pop into the oven for 3-4 minutes until your rolls are warmed through.

To Serve

Divide your pomodoro roast vegetables amongst your servings top with your grilled pork and serve with your garlic butter cheesy rolls
