Double Stack Cheese Burgers

A Cheesy home delight with this stacked two tier beef rump burger, BBQ sauce and herbed carrot fries.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • 4 x Rump Burgers
  • 60ml x DD Shisha BBQ Sauce
  • 40g x Grated Cheddar
  • 2 slices x Provolone Cheese
  • 2 x Sesame Seed Roll - halved as per burgers
  • 1 x Plum Tomatoes - sliced
  • 4 x Carrots - cut into fries
  • 5g x Italian Flat Leaf Parsley - chopped
  • 80ml x Mayonnaise
  • 30ml x Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Butter - optional (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

  • 8 x Rump Burgers
  • 120ml x DD Shisha BBQ Sauce
  • 80g x Grated Cheddar
  • 4 slices x Provolone Cheese
  • 4 x Sesame Seed Roll - halved as per burgers
  • 2 x Plum Tomatoes - sliced
  • 8 x Carrots - cut into fries
  • 10g x Italian Flat Leaf Parsley - chopped
  • 160ml x Mayonnaise
  • 60ml x Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Butter - optional (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

Method

Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils: Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any “Pantry Items”. Preheat your oven to 220°C. Mix your mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce.

Washing Instruction

Wash your hands, plum tomatoes and carrots well. Rinse your italian flat leaf parsley thoroughly and drain on paper towel.

Having your burger patties colder, straight from the fridge, works way better in keeping their shape and texture.

Step 1 - Carrot & Parsley Fries

Toss your carrot fries in a large mixing bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Scatter onto on oven tray, cover with foil, and roast for 15 minutes. Remove your foil and continue roasting for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned and tender. Once done, toss or sprinkle over your chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley.

Step 2 - Cheesy Rump Burgers

Grill your rump burgers for 2-3 minutes until charred on each side. Place onto an oven tray, stacked two patties at a time, place your sliced cheese in between your patties. Then place your DailyDish Shisha BBQ Sauce on top of your burgers and finish with your grated cheese. Place in the oven for 2-3 minutes until your cheese is gooey and your burgers are cooked through.

Step 3 - Toasted Buns

Rub each half of your buns with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Char on a hot grill/frying pan until grill/char lines appear - alternatively you could place them in the oven for 1-2 minutes to warm through.

To Serve

Place your sesame roll bottoms as your base, top with your sliced plum tomatoes, double-stack cheese patties, and serve with your carrot fries and sweet chilli mayo.
