Triple Stack Emmenthaler for 4

An absolute must-have! Triple juicy rump burgers coated in our homemade burger sauce. Topped with dill cucumbers, tomatoes, and delicious Emmenthaler cheese. Served with crispy oven-roasted fries.




Ingredients to serve 2

  • Rump Burgers
  • Emmenthaler - slices
  • Grated Cheddar
  • DD Burger Sauce
  • English Tomatoes - thinly sliced
  • Dill Cucumber - thinly sliced
  • Sesame Seed Buns - halved
  • Potatoes - cut into fries or wegdes
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)
  • Sunflower Oil (from your pantry)

  • 12 x Rump Burgers
  • 8 x Emmenthaler - slices
  • 60g x Grated Cheddar
  • 200ml x DD Burger Sauce
  • 2 x English Tomatoes - thinly sliced
  • 2 x Dill Cucumber - thinly sliced
  • 4 x Sesame Seed Buns - halved
  • 800g x Potatoes - cut into fries or wegdes
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)
  • Sunflower Oil (from your pantry)

Method

Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils: Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out.Take out any “Pantry Items”. Preheat your oven to 220°C.

Washing Instruction

Wash your hands, tomatoes and potatoes well.

Gino's Tip

Keep your rump patties in the fridge until your ready to fry them off and remember you just want to sear them off for colour as they will be going into the oven afterwards - really hot pan and a good sear.

Step 1 - Roast Potato Fries

Toss your fries in a large mixing bowl with a drizzling of olive oil, salt and pepper. Scatter onto an oven tray and pop into the oven for 30-35 minutes. Keep an eye on your fries and halfway through check on caramelisation or browning and test whether they are done or not. Remember convection ovens cook faster than radiation ovens. Or Cook your matchstick fries in a saucepan submerged in oil with a seasoning of salt for 8-10 minutes. You want to bring the potatoes up to heat along with the oil. Then drain through a colander being careful not to break the fries, place in the freezer to cool down totally. Once your potatoes are cold and using the same oil but bring the oil to heat (about 180°C) fry your matchstick potatoes until golden brown and crisp. Taste and then season if need be with salt and pepper.

Step 2 - Sesame Buns

Half your sesame buns, rub with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Char in a pan or grill pan until grill lines appear - reserve to serve

Step 3 - Triple Stackers

Heat a large frying pan over med-high heat, once your pan is hot and just about to smoke sear your rump burgers for 1-2 minutes on each side - turn only when there is enough colour on one side - See Gino's Tip. Transfer your patties to an oven tray once done, now stack your burgers with 2 slices of emmenthaler cheese, then top with a half of your DailyDish Burger Sauce and your grated cheddar cheese. Pop into the oven for 3-4 minutes until your cheese is oozy and melted.

TO SERVE

Fill your sesame buns with your sliced tomatoes and dill cucumber, triple stackers and serve with your roast potato fries and remaining burger sauce.
