Roasted Veggie Shakshuka Pizza

A deceptively simple but complex palate pleaser in this roasted butternut, red onion, courgette, red pepper, and cherry tomato pizza paired with goats cheese and a spiced-up DailyDish Shakshuka pizza sauce.

Ingredients to serve 2

  • 200g x Butternut Chunks
  • 1 x Red Onions - cut into chunks
  • 2 x Courgettes - cut into chunks
  • 1 x Red Peppers - cut into chunks
  • 100g x Cherry Tomatoes
  • ½ x Goats Cheese - gently crumbled
  • 150ml x DD Shakshuka Sauce
  • 20g x Crushed Garlic
  • 20g x Sundried Tomato Pesto
  • 1 x Pizza Base
  • 100g x Grated Mozzarella
  • 20g x Butter (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)

  • 400g x Butternut Chunks

  • 300ml x DD Shakshuka Sauce
  • 40g x Crushed Garlic
  • 40g x Sundried Tomato Pesto
  • 2 x Pizza Base
  • 200g x Grated Mozzarella
  • 40g x Butter (from your pantry)
  • Salt and Pepper (from your pantry)
  • Olive Oil (from your pantry)


Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils: Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out. Take out any “Pantry Items”. Preheat your oven to 220°C. Microwave your garlic and butter together and keep warm for serving.

Washing Instruction

Wash your hands, courgette, red pepper and cherry tomatoes well.

Gino's Tip

Please keep an eye on your pizza when it's grilling, the cheese, and crust can singe pretty quickly, be sure to place it in the middle of the oven with a watchful eye.

Step 1 - Roasted Vegetables

Toss your butternuts chunks, red onions, courgettes, and red peppers in a large mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper and scatter onto an oven tray and cover with foil. Once your oven is hot and ready pop your vegetables in for 12 minutes, then remove your foil and add your cherry tomatoes, and roast for 6-8 minutes until lightly browned and tender. Allow to cool slightly then gently mix along with your sundried tomato pesto. Once your vegetables are done roasting switch your oven over to grill.

Step 2 - Assembling your Pizza

Place your pizza bases on a floured oven tray, spread over your DailyDish Shakshuka Sauce, then top with your roasted vegetables, crumbled goats cheese, and grated mozzarella. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Pop your pizza into the middle of your oven and grill until your cheese is gooey slightly gratinated and your base is lightly browned.
