  • 10ml x White Sesame Seeds
  • 180ml x DD Moo Shu Sauce
  • 480g x Thuringer Sausage
  • 1 x Puff Pastry
  • 60g x White Cheddar - grated
  • 200g x Beef Mince - rolled into 50g meatballs
  • 300ml x DD Pesto Pomodoro
  • 60g x Grated Mozzarella
  • 4 x Garlic Soft Rolls - halved as per burger buns
  • 250g x Nachos
  • 1 tin x Black Beans - drained and rinsed
  • 1 x Red Pepper - diced
  • 1 x Green Pepper - diced
  • 2 x Pickled Jalapeno - sliced
  • 200ml x DD Mexican Chunky Tomato Sauce
  • 200g x Cheddar - grated
  • 120ml x Mayonnaise
  • 60ml x Sriracha
  • 1 tin x Caramel Treat
  • 1 pack x Marie Biscuits
  • 250ml x Cream
  • 2 slabs x Peppermint Crisp Chocolate
  • 80ml x Milk (from your pantry)
  • 1 x Eggs (from your pantry)
  • All Purpose Flour (from your pantry)

Before You Begin

Prepare your ingredients & cooking utensils: Use a chopping board and lay all the ingredients out.Take out any “Pantry Items”. Preheat the oven to 220C.

Hoisin and Sesame Chicken Wings

Gino's Tip

The smaller the item the higher the oven temperature. This will ensure juicy, crispy chicken wings, when it comes to adding the glaze, do this on the oven grill setting and do so by basting and grilling, one to two times to really set the glaze - video.

Step 1 - Sticky Hoisin Chicken Wings

Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Place them evenly spaced apart onto a foil-lined oven tray - this will make cleaning your oven tray so much easier. Drizzle with olive oil and pop into the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Switch the oven over to grill and with a basting brush, baste your wings with the DD Moo Shu Sauce and place them into the middle of the oven for 2-3 minutes. Repeat this process 1-2 times until your sauce is sticky and caramelised. Once done sprinkle over the sesame seeds.

Thuringer in Puff Blanket

Gino's Tip

Pigs in a blanket is traditional done with bacon, this version is with crispy puff pastry, making it lighter, and texturally amazing.

Step 1 - Puff Pastry

Lay the puff pastry out onto a lightly floured surface, sprinkle over your grated white cheddar, fold the puff pastry in half and roll it out to its initial thickness. This ensures that your cheese has been incorporated with the pastry. Now cut the puff pastry into strips. Wrap each sausage in a strip of pastry, winding it round like a corkscrew. Place on the oven tray lined with foil and chill in the fridge for 15 mins.

Step 2 - Baking

Mix the egg yolk with 1 tsp water and use to glaze the top of each pastry spiral. Bake for 20-25 mins until the pastry is puffed up and golden, and the sausages are cooked.

Rump Parmigiano Sliders

Gino's Tip

Parmigiano sliders are all about the sauce, be sure to use the burger to lap up all that loveliness while your eating your sliders.

Step 1 - Parmigiano Sliders

Heat a large frying pan over med-high heat, add a drizzling of olive oil, and once your pan is just about smoking fry the mini burgers for 1-2 minutes on each side. Now add the DD Pesto Pomodoro Sauce, turn your heat to medium, and bring your sauce to heat. Sprinkle over your grated mozzarella cheese and season with salt and pepper, cover with a lid and remove your pan from the heat. Top each soft roll bottom with a meatball, sauce, and stringy cheese, transfer the remaining sauce into a bowl and use it for dipping.

Sriracho Mayo Loaded Nachos

Gino's Tip

Nachos are super simple and easy, just layer all your ingredients together, top with cheese, and pop into the oven. Don't forget to line your oven tray with foil to make cleaning so much easier.

Step 1 - Loaded Veggie Nachos

Spread the nachos onto a foil-lined oven tray, top with your DD Chunky Mexican Tomato Sauce, diced peppers, drained black beans, sliced jalapeno peppers (optional), and your grated cheddar cheese. Pop into the oven for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling. Once done drizzle over your sriracha mayonnaise.

Caramel and Peppermint Tart Cups

Gino's Tip

Keep your peppermint crisp slab in the fridge or freezer until your ready to grate it up.

Step 1 - Toasted Coconut Flakes

You can proceed to toast the coconut flakes in the oven or in a pan - be sure not to use any oil and keep an eye on them as once they begin toasting they can singe easily if left unattended. It will take about 3-4 minutes in a preheated oven and 4-5 coming to heat in a pan.

Step 2 - Caramel Cream

Whisk the cream for 3-4 minutes just before soft peaks, you don't want your cream too aerated. Soft peaks are achieved when the cream is thick enough to form soft shapes/ peaks just firm enough to hold briefly as you lift the whisk, then fall back into the cream - so avoid this and make sure the cream is still runny. Now gently whisk through the caramel treat - very gently you don't want to aerate the cream too much. Lastly, fold through the milk.

Step 3 - Assembling your Peppermint and Caramel Tart

Add your crushed/crumbled marie biscuits to ramekins/glasses, top with some caramel cream and grated peppermint crisp chocolate, repeat this in multiple cups or make more layers. Garnish with your toasted coconut flakes.
